Declaration of death
Notification of death must be done within five days of the date of death at the municipality where the person died. Will the funeral or cremation take place later than six working days after the death? Then a postponement will have to be granted. We can register the death for you, but as a surviving relative you can also report the death yourself. The municipality draws up a death certificate and gives permission for the funeral.
